Sound the bugle: Camp Cannes is officially in session. The croissants are flaky, the schedules are packed—and yes, the rosé is flowing—but we came for more than sunburns and swag bags.

  1. The Camp Cannes Roll Call Podcast: a daily dispatch from the festival
    • Straight from our Camp Cannes cabin to your ears, Camp Cannes Roll Call is our daily take on the boldest, weirdest, and most wonderful moments from the festival. Hosted by the three of us, with plenty of caffeine and zero filters.
  2. Campaign + BarkleyOKRP present: fearless leadership for a new era of brand building
    • Campaign Editor Luz Corona and Charles Day of Fearless Creative Leadership will lead an unfiltered conversation with our team and numerous advertising industry leaders on the art of bold decision-making, cross-functional creativity, and why smart risk-taking beats playing it safe.
  3. A salon dinner celebrating modern female leadership in Cannes
    • We’re teaming up with Nicole Purcell, CEO of the Clios, to host an intimate dinner honoring the women redefining leadership in creativity and business. Chef Noelle Faure is cooking up a storm. Wine pairings? Curated by certified sommelier and author Viktorija Todorovska, spotlighting women-led vineyards.
  4. Reshma Karnik @ Cannes: power moves + people connections
    • MissionOne Media’s Chief Media Officer, Reshma Karnik, is taking the stage twice at Cannes this year. First, with The Female Quotient for a no-BS panel on prepping for the C-Suite.   5. Google Lighthouse AI lunch: welcome to the impossible
    • We’re unveiling the “impossible ad” with Slice, where AI met imagination to create the Fizz FM campaign. Join Katy Hornaday, CEO of BarkleyOKRP, Julie Barr, BarkleyOKRP’s SVP, Client Experience, and Nicole Portwood, CMO of Suja Life for a behind-the-scenes look at a campaign that breaks the mold and bends a few algorithms along the way.

So yes, the white linen pants will be wrinkly, and Yacht Row will be… Yacht Row. But we’re pumped to be showing up the way a Midwest-y Big Indie should: with curiosity, candor, and just the right amount of camp.
