As a purpose-driven company, we are constantly looking for ways to do good—it’s something we commit to, invest in, and make time for every day. Once a year, we collectively take this commitment into our communities for an annual service opportunity called Add Good Day.

Launched in 2012, Add Good Day aligns with the Community Pillar of our Add Good Plan, which commits us to “advancing diversity and equity in our communities.” This isn’t just a day of service — it’s a reminder we can make great things happen when we join forces.

We show up…

Turnout was impressive, as hundreds of us stepped away from our regular workdays and into 25 local YMCAs to assist with youth development programs nationwide. Think Kansas City, Denver, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and New York, with remote employees representing us in Virginia, Mississippi, Michigan, and Florida. 850 service hours later, we made a collective impact: mentoring aspiring young filmmakers, cleaning classrooms and beautifying gardens, serving at food pantries, and painting fresh lines on basketball courts. The result? A certain connectedness that inspires creativity and collaboration for all involved.  

We do the work and measure it…

Our drive to Add Good is underscored by our recent B Corp recertification, which continues to guide us in doing better business. This certification is more than a logo; it represents our membership in a business community dedicated to collective action for the greater good. It guides our daily work with intention so that we can create inclusive, equitable outcomes for our employees, our clients, our communities, and our planet

We expand our efforts — on purpose…

The other milestone in our growth is our expansion as BarkleyOKRP. Adding our Austin and Chicago offices in 2024 makes us one of the nation’s largest independent marketing firms in the U.S. It gives us a path to fuel profit and growth on a larger scale and an opportunity to grow our network of talented BarkleyOKRP team members. Our employees are the heartbeat of our organization. Only through our individual employees can we amplify our positive impact on the world.
