The body art features a combination of his mother's favorite plant, the bougainvillea, and the street address of his house while studying in the U.S. as an international student. For Jiang, the tattoo commemorates a pivotal time when he took a risk applying for an O-1 visa to stay and work in the American advertising industry—a gamble that ultimately paid off, as he is now working on his second O-1 visa.
