Video — We Go Sky High

After a record-breaking season, the Chicago Sky wanted to evolve its identity and build a lasting brand with a creative platform that matched both the team’s heart and the city’s spirit. The team had momentum but no clear narrative, and campaigns had felt disconnected from the grit and drive that define both the Sky and Chicago.

The Unruly Idea

BarkleyOKRP launched “We Go Sky High,” a platform rooted in work ethic, ambition, and hometown pride. The hype film brought together Sky players, real community leaders, South Side director Rodney Lucas, and a custom footwork track from Yessian. Chicago showed up in every frame. For the 2025 intro video, the idea scaled further: players appeared above the skyline casting massive shadows over the city, paired with a raw Def Jam track from viral duo Party of Two.

The Uncontained Impact

  • Party of Two performed live at halftime following the campaign launch
  • The intro video lit up social and gave the Sky a launch that matched their 20th season
  • Ravyn Lenae and Doechii showed up courtside, reflecting the campaign’s cultural reach
